Step 1: First, download the Xfinity xFi app on your Android or iOS smartphone from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 4: Select the profile created earlier and then click the "Edit" link next to Parental Controls.

2. Wireless Gateway Admin Tool

Step 1: First, open a web browser on your computer and then type in the address bar.

Step 2: Press Enter and you will be redirected to the Xfinity wireless gateway Admin tool website.

Step 3: Sign in with your Xfinity username and password at the Wireless gateway admin toolwebsite.

Step 4: After signing in, click on Parental Control and from there you can manage websites, block websites, applications, services, devices, and other Xfinity parental controls settings.

Part 2: How to Set up Mobile Xfinity Parental Controls

Your kids might not only access inappropriate content through your Xfinity internet but also through their smartphone. If they are using Xfinity stream app on their mobiles to access online content like movies, TV shows, or other channels, you will also need to set up Xfinity wifi parental control on Xfinity stream app. Using the Xfinity Stream app, you can enable the following parental control features -

  • Hide programs titles and description with Safe browse.

  • Blocking movies and TV shows by age ratings.

Step 1: Open the Xfinity Stream app on your iOS or Android device.

Step 2: Then, swipe from left to right on the screen to open the main menu and then tap on the Settings icon.

Part 3: How to Set up Xfinity TV Parental Controls

Step 1: Press the menu button on your Xfinity TV remote twice.

Step 2: Highlight the Parental Control option on the screen and then press OK.
